Continuing Education Units for Accounts Payable Certification
The IOMA/TAPN AP Certification Programs require continuing educational units (CEUs) in order to help you maintain your certification and keep up to date with the ever changing aspect of AP.
IOMA offers the several options as a means to obtain CEU's for the AP Certification programs and improvements in AP even if you have not achieved an AP certification to date.
- Membership in our controlled circulation AP website AccountsPayble360 (5 CEU's) if you register for the 5 daily e-alerts: AP Regulations and Compliance, AP Management & Career Development, AP Best Practices, AP Technology, and Test your AP IQ.
- Attend an IOMA's AP seminar: (6 CEU's) See the current schedule here on the Accounts Payable Focus Area of IOMA.com or on the AccountsPayable360 home page under "Conferences." Some of the available seminars are: AP Best Practices, T&E Best Practices, Automating T&E program, Managing & Cleansing your MVF, AP's Role in the Control; of Fraud in a SOX Environment, Managing & Expanding your p-card programs, and 1099 Compliance Reporting, and coming in 2009, Running a Modern and Efficient AP Department, and Building a Shared Services Group. - Attend an IOMA AP Audio conference (1.5 CEU's) See the current schedule here or on the AccountsPayable360 home page under "Conferences."
- Take an IOMA AP survey (2 to 3 CEU's) See the current surveys open for completion.
- Attend an IOMA AP conference (12 CEU's) Usually 3 per year. See the current schedule on IOMA.com's Accounts Payable Focus Area or on the AccountsPayable360 home page under "Conferences." Additional CEU's (3) are available for any "workshops" at the AP conferences.
- Subscribe to the AP Manager's newsletter and keep up to date with changes in AP: "Managing Accounts Payable" (MAP) (5 CEU's).
- Purchase an IOMA AP research report (2-5 CEU's). See the available publications.
