We know from anecdotal evidence that AP departments are changing rapidly. We’ve heard a number of prognosticators talk about moving AP from a transactional group to analytical function. Most forward-thinking AP professionals want to be part of that transformation. But to prepare for the future, they need to know exactly what the AP department will evolve into. To get their fingers on the pulse of this movement, RECAP Inc. polls its clients (mostly larger companies) to determine what companies are doing in AP.
