Companies Help Women Advance in Workplace

Since the majority of AP employees are female, here’s an idea that hopefully will catch on at other companies. At PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, high-performing employees can take up to five years' leave to raise a child, care for an elderly parent, or deal with other dependent care concerns. The accounting and tax firm launched the program, Full Circle--which is especially beneficial to its female employees--last July.
