Gender Pay Gap Starts Early—Then Widens

There’s a significant gender gap in terms of salaries for AP pros, according to IOMA's Accounts Payable Compensation Report 2007. For example, male AP managers earn $71,364 on average, 13% more than their female counterparts ($63,174). Of course, the gender pay gap is not limited to AP. Also, it starts the first year workers are out of college—and then it widens, according to a new study.
